Body Coral.. If Swimwear could say Aloha....

I met Gina through a casting she was doing for her own company called Body Coral.  She's originally from Hawaii so we instantly had a common bond.. she's the one of the nicest people I know, truly beautiful inside and out and passionate about her new company and it's future.  She told me a little about the company and what her envision was for the shoot.. turns out she was still looking for a makeup artist and BOOM, I told her I would ask a friend of mine who might be interested..  By the end of the casting she told me she would love to have me be part of Body Coral; I was totally ecstatic to work with her!  About a month or so later, the shoot took place in Carlsbad, CA at this amazing house with a pool and jacuzzi backdrop... My friend Tara (hair and MUA) had her hands full... 10 models.. hair.. makeup.. plus changes..

Happiest Place on Earth... DISNEYLAND!!

A couple weeks ago we decided to head to Disneyland aka The Happiest Place on Earth to take part in their Halloween festivities!! Ghosts, Goblins, Villains, the most awesome best!! I love October for not only the fact that it's my Birthday month but also for the fact that it's Halloween!! My favorite of all time!! I feel like I spend all year long trying to figure out a costume and the day before Halloween gets here, I'm completely lost! I had a smile on my face the whole time we were at the Princesses Castle... Check the pics..

The obligatory hat pictures... We sorta thought we were pirates..

You can't see it, but the sign to the far left says no stroller parking... apparently nobody can read.. Oh and also "It's a Small World"...

Me and Jessie from Toy Story go way back.. I mean I was born in Texas..

I didn't get to meet the Princesses THIS time, but I did visit their castle..

I mean I was seriously excited for the overall day... BEST. PICTURE. EVER..

Life in the view of a Holga...

I love my Holga camera, as you've probably heard me say before.. You just never know what the outcome will be until you lift the flap from the picture holder envelope... I must say this is definitely my favorite roll yet... Shot in Fresno, California over Memorial Day Weekend, there was so much on the drive up I wanted to shoot, but those highways can be so dangerous with everyone going 90 miles per hour... The hills off the 5 North were so beautiful it almost looked like a cartoon.. maybe next time I'll be brave enough to do a quick photo sesh off the side of the road for that deserty gritty look.. Until then, these were the shots I captured.. I saw the Cadillac across the street and was dying to use it for some shots but worried the owner would be upset, turns out the owner was at the same BBQ I was at! BONUS!! I ran and got my camera and starting shooting away!!

I usually keep it as true as possible by shooting with the setting at 12 photos per roll.. I have a flash on my camera and typically use it even when outdoors and the sun is out.. These pictures were just "point and shoot" with no added filters or lenses.. perfectly imperfect shots...

This Cadillac shot is my most prized photo thus far...

Melrose Mischievery...

On a trip to Los Angeles we decided to stop on well known Melrose Avenue.. home of trendy boutiques, tattoo shops, and absolute randomness... That road is full of photo opportunities, I couldn't stop snapping away and taking videos.. Sometimes I just need an LA fix of mischievery.. Melrose Mischievery..

We started off grabbing brunch at Toast.. I did have toast in case you were wondering..

Onward to Melrose Avenue... got a little artsy in my photography skills...

The store names have got to be my favorite by far...

We don't like posing very much... like at all..

Artwork... I like the mohawk...

Did you need a sequin and/or ball gown by chance with a pet tiger??

Or how about a giant oven?? No?? Weirdo...

I present to you the official video montage documenting our mischievery...

...friendships, laughter, mischievery... they all kinda go hand in hand...
