So as you know from my previous post, that the news stations in San Diego do fashion segments for various events, seasons, etc. Recently San Diego's CW Channel 6 did a segment for swimsuits since summer is upon us! How exciting! Sometimes I forget how much I miss the sun and I am reminded when San Diego's rays are shining down, how my skin perks up along with my mood.. It's amazing what a little Vitamin D can do to change your attitude.. LOVING the fact the sun doesn't go down until almost after 8pm now! I feel like I have so much more time in my days! Ok, random rant.. Back to the reason for this post.. Swimsuit season!! One of my favorite times of the year... Four models, to include myself, wore the latest fashions in swimwear from Fashion Valley Mall.. were featured on the morning news and IF you missed it, have no fear, I have a link of the segment!!

After watching the inspirational fashion and celebrities gracefully walk across the red carpet for the Oscar's, we sometimes find ourselves wanting to seek similar fashions for our own soirees.. Lucky for you Fashion Valley Shopping Mall did all the leg work for you! They featured a "Look for Less" on Fox 5's fashion segment after the Oscar's so fashionista's can purchase similar looks worn by our favorite fashion icons!!

She totally stole the Oscar's that night with the most talked about "pose"... SO guess who got booked to channel Angelina in Fox 5's fashion segment?! Moi! I was totally ecstatic when I heard the news.. oh la la, and that red lipstick!!

I can remember last year's Fashion Night Out like it just happened! Check last year's blog post here.. It's the time of year again to truly appreciate the world of fashion.. I'm missing the runway for this year's FNO, BUT have no fear, future fashion show coming up on October 1st.. I'll post more information as it becomes available.. Do you crave fashion and can't wait for your next issue of Lucky to come in the mail? Sometimes this is how I feel.. spending hours rummaging through fashion blogs to get inspired or window shopping to see how the designers want you to wear their outfits.. I always try to put my own take in each outfit I create.. kind of my own personal runway if you will. I work a desk job during the week and I still try to get "dressed up".. When you're confident in what you're wearing it gives you a sense of confidence in your own personality.. hold your head a little higher when you take pride in the way you look like.. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what's wrong with looking beautiful INSIDE and OUT?? Will you be attending this year's Fashion Night Out?? Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego will be hosting their version on Thursday September 8th.. I'll be there front and center watching the runway shows and grabbing my swag bag!
